This year marks my tenth year as a small business owner—a milestone that feels both like a lifetime and a single, continuous breath. Although my hands first found the loom in 2007, it wasn't until 2015 that I chose to go "all-in," dedicating my days fully to the rhythm of handweaving.

Plant based gift set. So excited about this collaboration with Danielle Bourgault R.H. (OHA) Registered Herbalist. To complement Danielle’s gorgeous plant based products is a handwoven cloth made from organic cotton and plant dyes.

This project was a terrific experience as I dedicated many hours to the in-depth development of colour samples produced entirely with plant and natural dyes.

It’s been a long time coming and I’m so excited to finally be able to introduce recycled cotton into my collections.

Earlier this year I was awarded the Ontario Arts Council, Northern Arts Grant, to pursue an In-Depth Study Of Structure and Design For Handwoven Textiles. A very big thank you to the OAC for making this project possible. I am thrilled to bring this knowledge back to my community on Manitoulin Island.
